As the photographer Claudio Covi from the Kromar Studio took the photographs for these pages he asked: »How can we capture the tranquillity which prevails hereabouts?«
In fact, Haus Schmieder is located just a few minutes from all of that which makes a stay here so pleasant: 2 minutes walk from the centre of the village, from shops, public houses and churches, from the indoor swimming pool and the bus stop.
Nevertheless, tranquillity prevails. A house built on Roman remains, a modern exterior with nostalgic interior, functionally modified furniture taken from an old hotel in Innichen, with generous greenery and car parking. The origins of the Drau river flow close by where you can fly fish for trout in the private waters which we run together with Toni Lercher of Uhrmachers Weinstube.
